20 Reasons for Booking Your 2019 Trip to Walt Disney World NOW!

Walt Disney World is one of our family’s favorite vacation destinations.  I have been going since I was a little girl and it never gets old.  It’s because there is always so much to do and things are always changing.  Walt Disney World is having a big year in 2019 and these are my reasons why I think you need to book your 2019 trip NOW!!

  1.  FREE dining packages!  FREE dining is being offered most dates July 5th-September 30th.  Not paying for dining saves a TON of money and you want the dining plan as part of your plan.  Having the dining plan makes the trip almost all-inclusive, so it’s nice to know everything is paid for before traveling!  This can only be booked through February 10th so don’t miss out!
  2. It’s only a $200 refundable deposit.  A $200 deposit holds your reservation.  After that you can still add people, change your hotel, add Memory Maker or the Magical express or modify for another reason but your dates are held.  Your balance is due 30 days before travel and the $200 is refundable until that point.
  3. Historically prices increase in February.  Prices have already increased at Disneyland for 2019.  Hold your reservation now to guarantee the cheaper prices at Walt Disney World.
  4. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.  This amazing land opens this year in both Disneyland and Disney World.  An official date hasn’t been announced but we’ve been told late fall.  Go ahead and reserve your spot now because everyone will want to book once the date is announced!
  5. Reservations can be modified for promotions after booking. What if a free booking promotion drops for the dates I booked or a discount is suddenly available?  A reservation can be modified for the best price!  Don’t think you have to wait for a better deal.  Reserve your room and package now and know that it can be possibly modified for a better deal later!
  6. Book the best dining 180 days in advance.  Did you know that you can start booking dining 180 days in advance of your travel dates?  And did you know that some highly coveted meals book up extremely quickly.  Do you have dreams of eating at Cinderella’s Castle or with the Beast at Be Our Guest?  You best bet is to book early!
  7. Not to miss Festivals.  Epcot International Festival of the Arts is Jan. 18-February 25th.  Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival is March 6-June 3.  Epcot Food and Wine Festival is August-November.  Epcot International Festival of the Holiday’s is November-December.  All of these festivals are amazing!
  8. Be one of the first to dine at the new Storybook Dining at Artist Point. Dine in a magical forest-like setting inspired by “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.”  During this immersive character dining experience, you’ll be visited by Snow White, some of her friends and possibly even the Queen!  This dining experience is located in Wilderness Lodge.
  9. Celebrate Mickey and Minnie with an all new Move-It, Shake-It Dance Party, new music, dancing and fun throughout Magic Kingdom, and new Mickey and Minnie themed merchandise. Mickey’s 90th anniversary is being celebrated in a big way in 2019!  The fun starts January 18th!

  11. Celebrate Halloween or Christmas in the parks. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is select nights in August-October.  Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is select nights November-December.

  14. Meet Lightning McQueen and see the all new Lighting McQueen Racing Academy.  This opens in Spring 2019 and will be located in Hollywood Studios.
  15. Take part in the Hakuna Matata Dance Party at Animal Kingdom.  This fun party is part of the tribute to the 25th anniversary of the Lion King.
  16. See Pixar Avenue at Hollywood Studios turned in to Metroville City Block complete with Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, Frozone and Edna Mode.  And meet Mike and Sully from Monster’s Inc. So much Pixar fun to be had to celebrate Hollywood Studios 30th birthday!  This is January 18th-September 30th.
